Main sources of employment in my country - city. The main sources of employment in Bucaramanga are the small footwear factories, which are mostly family businesses with less than thirty direct employees. Most of these factories are located in "San Francisco" neighborhood. The largest companies in the region are "Espumas Santander", which is dedicated to the manufacture of mattresses of all kinds and everything related to the rest of the people. Other large companies in the city are "freskaleche" and "lechesan", both are industries dedicated to the manufacture of dairy products.

The supply and demand labour in my country - city. Supply and demand in Colombia may vary depending on the city. There are certain professions such as medicine, law or teaching that have high demand both in rural areas and in industrial and commercial areas. However, Colombia is a country that currently demands more technical than professional. Bucaramanga does not reach the title of "industrial city", although it has its industries. Neither does it manage to be a proper tourist city, however, it is a commercial city, proof of this are the boom of shopping centers in Bucaramanga and throughout its metropolitan area. Some of the most outstanding are: Cañaveral Shopping Center, El Cacique shopping center, De la Cuesta shopping center, Caracolì shopping center, among others.

What  would you change about policies labour in your city or country?  I live in Bucaramanga city and Colombia is my country.I would change some labor policies in my city. Bucaramanga is a city with little industry but with a lot of trade. My city has small companies with less than fifty direct employees. These are the work focus of the majority of citizens, and these companies don't have constant legal accompaniment, so it is normal that minimum rights of workers are violated. Some of these exceed the legal eight working hours without recognizing the payment of overtime. Others companies under excuses contract with modality of contract of provision of services, being a fixed-term contract, forcing the workers to assume the payment of their social security. For questions like these, I would change the policies of my city, or at least, I will try to comply with the existing regulations in the country.
